Im Bundestag wird über die Lieferung weiterer Waffen, konkret des Taurus-Marschflugkörper-Waffensystems, beraten. Diese Frage ist hoch umstritten, da für die einen eine "Selbstverteidigung der Ukraine" mit allen Mitteln sichergestellt werden muss. Andere wiederum halten den Vorgang für gefährlich, da sie befürchten, Deutschland können so "aktive Kriegspartei" werden. Denn Taurus ist keine reine Defensivwaffe, sondern kann Ziele auch weit auf russischem Staatsgebiet angreifen.
